Hi, I’m Francisco Carrillo I grew up with the haciendas. My father owned lots of land and slaves. After my father passed away I started to work on my own. During the revolution my beliefs really changed. Is it really good to only let the rich benefit? Is it fair to the lower class? I lived through this crazy time period. After this revolution the adjustments are made dictatorship ended and they established a constitutional republic. Not only that but they also got land reform for the peasants. There are also problems that remained such as the majority of the population is still poor.

After the revolution we got land reform and we got rid of the dictator, we know whats good for us and our country. The gap between social classes starts to grow closer. Even though the haciendas loss lots of land but when I saw the smile of their faces I knew poverty isn’t what we want and everyone wants to be treated equally.
