Connecting in identity

In the identity unit of photography, I wanted to capture people in my photos looking at the outside world through masks or other things. People see the world through masks, so I wanted to use photos like this to satirize people’s disguises, not their real faces.

This photo is what I have taken for inspiration. Caricature people use masks to disguise themselves, but they still end up hurting themselves.

This photo is another source of inspiration, where he covers the half of his face that is seen by the sun (the outside world), while the other half is unblocked but empty. This represents two extremes, only with the disguise can there be soul and without the disguise is empty.
