Capstone Project

The pollution of India’s Ganges River poses a threat to both the environment and human health, with inadequate waste management and infrastructure contributing to a decline in water quality. The river is home to many endangered species, and initiatives such as the National Ganga River Basin Project and the Ganga Action Parivar aim to improve waste management and promote sustainable practices. Additionally, the recent natural cleansing of the Ganges due to the pandemic has shown the potential for improvement. By continuing these efforts, we on are the way to preserve this vital water resource and support the health and well-being of people and wildlife in the region.
