Over these years, I have grown, and my perception of this revolution has changed. Today I will unveil my story: a journey of self-reflection and illumination that started with the encounter of a little boy.

After the revolution ended, distinct situations stayed the same but many changed by a lot. More than one million people were killed during the revolution, and an abundance of citizens sacrificed their lives in order to protest. The Mexican Revolution ended the dictatorship of Porfirio Díaz, and people aren’t allowed to run for a second term in their presidency. Along with these changes, the Mexican Revolution brought human rights, universal education, and land reform to the country and expanded it towards the world.

The main cause of this revolution was to overthrow president Porfirio Díaz, then leading into distinct events which eventually caused more bombardment and conventions throughout the country. Fortunately, the Mexican revolution ended with prosperity and peace after ten years of savage civil war.
