The found poem above was taken from the fourth page of “Lamb to the Slaughter” by Roald Dahl. It shows man vs. man conflict between Mary Maloney the protagonist and her husband who is leaving her.  In the rising action of the story, the conflict shows that when her husband was leaving her then she took it in an extreme way. She used a lamb leg to kill her husband. In this passage Mary Maloney comes to a  woman that is weak women that real loves her husband. But over reacts when her husband is leaving her.  The conflict ended up in as she killing her husband.
