I am proud of my drawing and editing skills on a app called” 剪映”, because the drawing’s spent a long time. I was really nervous at the start; however, I think I did a great job.

Bloody battle in the bloody time

Louis Brown, that is my name. I’m just a normal 14 boy that works in a factory with a normal life.  All of it changed until the revolution, I became a naughty boy but not in a bad way.

In the American revolution,  the things that stayed the same is that status was still controlled by white rich man, there were still slaves and women still didn’t have rights. The things that changed are there was the law of inherence, people wont get judged by birth, land expansion and more. I think the revolution is worth it because now America is a really strong country in the world and if it isn’t this revolution many things now would change.

The mighty United States was not its own country before

The American revolution is about how the Americans detached British out of several battle during 1775-1781. The American revolution started in 1770 when the British kept on making the Americans upset. Until 1783,  both sides finally had a treaty and reconciled.

Antarctic’s notebook got Lost

The story Lost in the Antarctic by Tod Olson described the journey of 28 man going to Antarctic. In the story, which was during World War 1, showed how hard it was to survive in Antarctic; Cold wasn’t the only thing to fear, no sunlight, and hunger can make people live no better than die. Although, through their unremitting effort no one died throughout the journey. However, the people waiting for them to come back thought this adventure was useless, including me, I also thought this adventure was just useless. They didn’t get any harvest, instead lots of supplies sunk down with the ship.

This is the notebook page me recording my notes when I was reading, I think this is a good page because this shows the scenes during the book and also showed I read the book.

this is the page of me wondering why they would go to Antarctic during war, this is a good page to show because it has the idea “is discovering Antarctic worth it or not”.

This is the part when I was getting more back round information about the story so I could understand it better, I think this is a good page to show because it allowed me as a reader to understand better.

This page showed the central idea and the theme of the book, I think this is a good page because first, central idea and theme can count as a summarize since it shows what the book is about. Second this page has a few evidence of why this central idea and theme is like this.

81% Humanism

Humanism by Luohan

To prove that Im mostly a humanist, I picked 5 examples and calculated how much a humanist I am. The humanist, people who had similar thinking like us started in 13century-15century. I found out that I was 81% of a humanist. I had similar thinking just like them. Believing that education is important, believing that god didn’t make all the rules and more, made me similar to a humanist.

The arm covered with bruises

The found poem above was from paragraph 30-43. The book is called Tuesday of the Other June by Norma Fox Mazer. This story’s conflict is about two Junes. The protagonist got bullied by the antagonist because they had the same name “June”. When the other June knew that they both had the same name. The other June made nicknames, for example Fisheyes, Bufallo Brain and Turkey nose. However, it’s not just verbal bullying, there is also physical bullying. The conflict is important because the story is surrounded by June getting bullied and how she was scared to stand up for herself. At the end of the story June stood up for herself.
