Bruce Gilden might have been interested in taking real-life people and this is more natural, as we can see from the photo he usually takes photos of those real-life people’s looks and expressions. he might also be interested in taking photos from a zoomed-in perspective.  Last but not least he might be interested in making the photos with a high saturation of color.

If I were the photographer, I would name the photo ‘ real’ because I think the photo really shows how people are in real life. most people nowadays will only smile, and do a cheese post when taking photos, but that does really show who they are, and their feelings.

this photo has a very strong use of color, and texture because we can clearly see the hair and the pores of the person, and because the photo has a very high saturation, this really makes the photo very intense, and the light that it’s reflecting. the focus was right on the person, which is the main object, and there was a great use of tone and light. This photo makes me feel a little bit horror, and uncomfortable, because the person is staring at the camera, with a nasty look.
