The found poem above was taken from page 40-50 of the story “Tuesday of the other June” by Norma Fox Mazer. It shows a man versus man conflict between June, the protagonist and other June. In the rising action of the story, this conflict illustrates June trying to have a good summer while at the same time other June abusing her. June wanted it to stop but she was afraid. She had an internal conflict, she wanted to tell other June to stop but she also did not know what to do. Hopefully, this conflict will end and other June will stop abusing June.

I wonder how the story ends. Does the abuse continue or is that still unclear at the end?
