For my final photography project, I aim to explore the vibrant interplay of light and movement in urban environments at night, inspired by the work of Vincent Laforet. My intent is to capture the dynamic energy of city life through long-exposure techniques, emphasizing the bright colors of lights against dark backgrounds.
I will focus on showcasing the beauty of movement, whether it’s the trails of passing cars or the hustle of pedestrians, creating a sense of dynamism in my images. By using negative space effectively, I hope to highlight the brilliance of the colorful lights, making them stand out vividly.
Through this project, I want to evoke emotions and invite viewers to experience the unique atmosphere of the city after dark. My goal is to create a collection of photographs that not only reflect the energy and vibrancy of urban landscapes but also tell stories through light and motion. Ultimately, I seek to engage my audience and inspire them to see the beauty in the bustling life of the city at night.
