In this yellow contact sheet, I chose the photographs having good aesthetic and fitted into my vision at the same time. Although it is difficult to observe details texture and patterns of the photographs, all the yellow-labelled photographs reveal some stains and rough texture, which I intended in my vision to express the antique visuals. Therefore, most of them are some old walls as my inspired photographer Aaron Siskind did. Also, serene mood created by winter atmosphere makes the image abstractive enough to show the aged features.
In my green contact sheet, All textures become old and rusty.
Each of them are ones of theme options that I can choose. For example, 1111 photograph’s theme is shadow, and 1311’s and 1345’s themes are pipe. I am planning to observe all yellow contact sheet more to find the theme that most fitted into my vision.
Reds Contact Sheets
Although I apparently need editing to make the photographs look abstractive, both red contact sheet about pipe and shadowing rocks show the rusty texture revealed in green contact sheet. The pipe’s straight lines serve as leading lines of going towards its pathway, and the rocks show obvious lighting contrast through simple straight lines.
