Title: Echoes of the City
The name of this photo is “Echoes of the City.” I intentionally captured this image by reflecting myself in the window, allowing both the city lights and my figure to be visible. This photo highlights the contrast between the inner and outer worlds. Outside, the city is vibrant with the lights of vehicles and the warmth of people’s energy, while I am inside, resting and feeling cool. I slightly adjusted the highlights in the photo to emphasize this contrast and enhance the theme of light.
I believe the difference between the outside and inside lighting is well captured. Still, I feel a bit disappointed that my reflection, which represents a cooler presence, is not as noticeable unless you look closely.

Title: Smile of Innocence
The final photo is titled “Smile of Innocence.” I put the most effort into this piece because I wanted to clearly convey how the theme of light relates to my identity. After much contemplation, I decided to capture the innocence of my childhood—a time when I lived happily without worries. Since I couldn’t go back to my childhood, I recreated it using a photo of myself as a child. In the image, I am radiating bright light at the center, while the surrounding space—a white wall—is intentionally darkened using Photoshop. This contrast of light serves to remind viewers that the photo was taken by my grown self, reflecting on the challenges I faced as I grew up.
I feel that this one best captures my identity. However, I realized that integrating my identity with the theme of light was challenging. The theme of light is only indirectly conveyed through the contrast, making it difficult to fully connect it with my identity in the image.
