I’ve selected to apply the concept of “The Beauty of the Ordinary.” Discovering emotional and architectural value in the temporary moments of daily urban life—passing feelings, renowned street landscapes, and typical situations—and symbolically recording them is the primary intent of this method of photography. This approach is especially visible in Jonathan Jasberg’s work; although traveling over sixty nations, he tends to accurately capture everyday life rather than seeking luxurious or exotic surroundings. His close connection with local communities provides authenticity to his pictures, and his strong observation of color and light demonstrates the “decisive moments” hidden in everyday events. With others, I am drawn to the everyday rhythms of life instead of unusual things in looking for importance. This concept corresponds with my photographic fashion, which highlights being able to pause amid life’s busy speed and examine the world with an open mind and an acute knowledge of its various forms.
