Her Girls series features young Chinese women in honest, close-up portraits. The photos highlight their rejection of society’s rules. Her work uses natural moments and bold expressions. This inspires me to capture real emotions and resistance in my own photos.

Her project Experimental Relationship changes typical gender roles. She poses as the leader in her relationship with her male partner. Her creative and funny setups encourage me to question traditional roles. I want to use staged scenes and humor to do this.
