YELLOW SELECTION – My 50 Photos

These photos have been chosen for my yellow selection for multiple reasons. Throughout the 798 trip, I was exploring different photographer’s techniques, and I was attempting to focus on various different styles of photography. Many of these yellow section photography share a similar style, while the other ones are completely different.

GREEN SELECTION

I tried to see how some of the images would appear in black and white using the green selection because that was my photographer’s style at the time. In addition, I selected these images with the goal of assembling them into triptychs, so I paid closer attention to those that shared characteristics. I examined color, texture, and shapes, for instance. Both ones that were more about shadows and ones with an architectural vibe caught my attention.

RED SELECTION

I will use these pictures for my triptychs, and they are among my last few. In addition to having striking contrasts and shapes that highlight the aesthetic of my selected photographer, I believe that many of these images successfully convey the architectural ambiance of 798.
