For the LED Lamp Design Project I was lagging behind a lot, and I didn’t finish my lamp, but i learned some sweet tips if i was to do this again. For example, when i was trying to make my words light up, Mrs. Kim showed me that the insides of the words were going to get cut out, so i might as well erase it to save time. Then, she saw my Lamp in Fusion 360 and taught me how to turn off constraints so it didn’t effect my work. I’m sad that i didn’t finish it , but i’m glad to learn new tips and tricks!

Hello! In this blog i will talk about the project that me and my partner did. The challenge was to create a utensil to eat a specific food. While we were doing this, our starter design was for kids to drink and play at the same time by creating the spear, the trident and the fishing straw. But the teacher vetoed the design by saying that the design was too broad and not specific, so we changed our design into a cup holder for the movies. We made it into a hand- like design to make sure that the hand would the cup like we plan it to do. Then we made a switch for it so when you turn it on, it will emit a weak light enough for you to find the cup holder, but not enough for you to disturb the movie. This will insure that your cup will not spill on the floor because you can’t find it. And the hand’s design will insure your cup’s safety by clamping it in the claws, and you can change the height of the cup holder to insure that the cup holder is in optimal drinking height for you. In conclusion, the cup holder became the best design of all.

If i did this again, I would have more tape on to the hoops,  so it would be much more easier to toss it on.  My biggest success was thinking of making it challenging for people to  toss it on to the hoop. It was fun to watch 4 graders try to toss it on, and we try to help the students by telling them tips and cheats.

I’ d give future student more tips to help them win the game, such as: “choose the ones with more tape!” or ” make sure you are standing on the line , it’s easier!”

My biggest challenge was how to make the rolls for the hoop to toss it on. My original design was it to be made of empty toilet rolls. But we needed 16 of them, and we can’t make up that demand so we swapped with paper cups.
