Experimental Takes (1)

There is not much technical issues with these photos however it does not reflect my intensions. The original plan was to have the light located behind the subject present the subject in a projecting way. However, this failed because the lights were unable to project the subject’s shadow effectively which completely kills the plan.

 

Experimental Takes (2)

These more follow up experiments taken at home because I thought the projection problem was caused by the oversized subjects. However, it turns out that the problem is most likely because the concept of shadow projection does not work. I did attempt different angles but none of them turned out to be effective.

 

Complete Failure (1)

This was an attempt with the normal light coming from outside of the pitch black studio but it ended up being completely black because the iso was lower than 100 and it appears that something is blocking the camera

 

  • One major lesson I learned from this is that I should always test my ideas early on incase it fails. When I do this early on the in the process, I would have more time to reorganize and come up with new plans.
