This photo is slanted and it doesn't capture everything. The trees are cut off, the subject of the photo is unclearand it arguably has too much of the ground while the building at the back is positioned at a weird angle

This photo is painful to the eye. You’d have to squint in order to see it. It’s actually pretty cool, centered on the security camera on the wall but the blackness of this photo ruins everything

Once again this photo is really uncomfortable to look at. The composition and angling and everything in between are all wrong. You cannot decipher what this is all actually about everything is cropped down to the last pixel and to be honest it’s absolutely disgusting to look at. Whoever took this photo is probably really good at Wrong Photography

This photo to me is dead. It doesn’t contain any sort of value. From what’s in the picture it’s just a regular ceiling with some supports and a window and the sun reflecting back. I don’t really think there are any feelings or emotion that could be taken out of this

I think boring is the word. Looks like an empty cafeteria with a bunch of blue chairs. The question is: was this taken during an earthquake. However this might be a good presentation of the formal element repetition/pattern

This photo is very abstract

This sandwich is a complete piece of trash, as is this photo

This photo is boring as well. Unless there’s some sort of hidden meaning behind it that’s worth writing an essay about. but there’s not and I know cause I took it

This photograph is very tilted, blurry, and stupid

This photo is actually very interesting. The focus and subject of this photo is FOOY and it seems like she’s taking a photo with a camera next to a plant. The plant enhances this photograph, it adds color, texture, tone, and shape and makes it less bland. But for some reason fooy’s head is cut of. dangerous

Photography – Context

The photo Wrong by John Baldersarri isn’t actually necessarily wrong, but it is without context a pretty terrible photo. Looking at it on its own it does not posses any features of a good photo. There is little balance in the photo- it does not go by the thirds rule nor is it in any way symmetrical. The focus of it is also ambiguous you cannot tell what the photographer’s intent was, whether it was supposed to be a portrait of the man or just a random shot of a suburban neighborhood. On all four sides of the image parts of the photo have been left out, trees, plants, and a truck cropped, making it very uncomfortable to look at with the picture showing too much of the ground-a disproportionate, unpleasant shot. Overall, there are just too many flaws, the camera setting, angling etc coming in all shapes and forms the blatant errors and subtle mistakes. In conclusion, the photo ‘Wrong’ is basically the epitome of bad photos – unless you put it into context. It’s a different story when you consider the context of the photograph.
