From County Rebellion to National Revolution: The American Journey.

The American Revolution, which took place approximately 250 years ago, was an uprising of the 13 colonies against British rule, leading to the declaration of independence. Following the loss in the Seven Years’ War, the British faced economic challenges and decided to impose taxes on the American colonists without having a representation. The revolution was marked by conflicts until the Treaty of Paris finally recognized America as an independent nation. However, despite the triumph in the declaration of independence, issues were still persisted. Slavery remained prevalent in the southern states, the reliance on enslaved laborers in the South and the unfair treatment of women eventually led to the civil war.
