Ms. Stride’s Feedback
This photo is severely underexposed and unfocused, making it difficult to distinguish the borders and lines of the objects. Besides, the concept and topic of this photo are unclear because of insufficient context. Also, the vignette at the top and bottom looks like what someone with their eyes only halfway closed would see.

High School Hallway
The main wrong technique used in this photo is poor framing. Identifying the subject and focus is difficult because the photo completely breaks the rule of thirds. Despite the hallway’s potential for openness, the walls’ dominant presence creates a visual confinement. In addition, the ceiling lights are captured as blurry. The white hue leaks throughout the entire photo, making it look blurry and unfocused.
Epkua and Lung
In this photo, the background competes with the subjects instead of supporting them. The high contrast causes areas where the subjects’ clothing aligns with the background to blend completely into it, reducing subject separation. Furthermore, grains and noises can be observed from high exposure, and these demonstrate the view of a person with extreme fatigue.
City on Fire
This photo is considered wrong because it does not focus on a specific subject. Due to the slow shutter speed, the light appears blurred and streaked in the image. Also, the window reflection overlaps, creating visual clutter. Due to the poor technical execution and color, it looks like a view of buildings on a huge fire.
Lotte Castle
Excessive exposure to light washes out the overall color tones, making the photo appear dull and lacking depth. Although the tilt is barely noticeable at first glance, the photo is not properly level, creating subtle visual discomfort for the audience and reducing the photo’s overall impact.
Dinner
One clear problem in this photo is that it does not have a main subject to grab the viewer’s attention, since nothing is placed in the center of the frame. The subjects in the image are out of frame and make the photo appear unnatural. In addition, a thin beam of light perfectly lines up with the straw, creating an awkward and distracting effect.
Spy
This photo feels messy and unfocused due to several technical issues. Although the composition draws the viewer’s attention to the center, the subject is not in focus. This makes the image feel deliberately flawed, and yet it seems like a sight of someone sspying on the subjects through a spyglass.
Cafeteria
There are multiple factors that make this photo poor: the ISO is set too low for indoor photography, the focus is not properly set, the color is overused, and the subject is poorly framed. The overexposure and hue result in a cool visual effect that is reminiscent of a cartoon-magic-transformation or a visualization of overdose.

Blue Beam
This photo is taken in a very dark environment, which causes heavy grain and visible noise throughout the image. The camera shake makes the photo blurry, so the subject is not in focus. However, the blue background, lights, and indistinctness make it seem like a group of people is having fun at a disco party.
