How can photography change our relationship to things?

I think by taking the time to think about how to capture an image, you are really slowing down life and taking the time to observe. In observation, you might see new things you hadn’t noticed before, you might learn something. Photography also takes an imprint of what you saw at one point in time. By photographing something, you are taking record of it, you have a physical (or digital) remembrance where you may have forgotten it in a different situation.
