I think pictures 1, 4, 9, and 12 worked, both because I like those images more and because they more accurately replicated the drawings. I think using the drawings as a model I have to follow both gave me structure and a form of freedom, because then I had restrictions that gave me a goal. I think picture number 3 and 8 didn’t work as well. 3 didn’t work as well because i couldn’t get as much contrast (lighting restrictions). 8 because I think the subject of the image is too cluttered and varying in color; it makes it so you can’t focus on the pattern as much.
