(Neon version)

I will create a series of portraits of my brother using neon lighting to show the duality of his personality: his serious nature as well as his jokester qualities. I want to use color and light to build a portrait of his overall character. I will do so with sharp saturated colors. Cool colors like blue and purple will be used to capture his serious side. In contrast, I will use pink to show how he doesn’t always take things seriously. By framing him with these contrasting cold and warm colors, I want to make the viewer feel both his levity and his seriousness.
