Bruce Gilden

Bruce Gilden is known for his distinctive street photography, characterized with his use of flash and high contrast that creates dramatic imagery. He often gets extremely close to his subjects, capturing sudden moments that reveal emotions and sudden expressions. By focusing on urban environments, particularly in bustling cities like New York, Gilden highlights the sudden moment of city life with his own type of photography.

Image Evaluation

Vision

My vision for set 2 is capturing sudden moments and emotions in the busy urban scene, my main goal is to spot the variety of emotions human-beings could have. I will use the get really close technique to capture images like Bruce Gilden. I want the viewers to think that the photo I took clearly reflects on what the person is thinking about or what kind of situation they’re in.
