American Revolution Journal

Introduction Of My Work

This Journal is a story about a boy named Riley who grew up during the revolution. In this diary, Riley recorded his own life experiences and the things he went through. Some big events happened during his life. For example: the Boston Tea Party, the Boston Massacre, and a lot of How will he face them? How will he decide? In the end, how is Riley’s life going on? This is a short article but includes much real American history.

Change & Continuity Reflection

Through this revolution, the American situation had been totally changed. Although some of the rules or social conditions stay the same. But for the American people, their freedom of worship did not change. this revolution is definitely worth it. Americans fought for their human rights and became more free. They also got presidents, and the laws became more equal to all genders or all statuses of people. Ordinary people can get power and both daughters and sons can inherit heritage. So by peoples’ side, the revolution brought them a lot of benefits. They can live the life of themselves and don’t need to follow the British. America truly became a free and strong country.

In this video, we’re going to simply introduce the American Revolution time through our crafting video. The American Revolution was a very important period in American history. In our video, we summarized some important points on this part of history which can make the audience understand more quickly about the American Revolution. Including the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, the Lexington War, etc. Our video is also very easy to understand so it is suitable for every age. I hope you enjoy it!

Non-fiction Book Club Summative

In this book club, I read the book Night with my group. The Night is Elie Wiesel’s personal account of how he and his father were sent to a concentration camp in Nazi Germany near the end of WW2 and at the height of the Holocaust. The behavioral and psychological descriptions of the characters in this book are very realistic, and many parts are consistent with real history. Personally, I think it’s a good biography. I also made some notes during my reading.

This page is talk about a causes and effects about the Jews travels, I found some evidence that can make the whole idea connected.

In this page of note I’m analyzing that how the author inferred us some information through the details. This is a very clever way of writing, I also have the evidence to prove it.

For this page we find two kind of texts inside the book and one of them is the real information on the history and the other kind of text is the story. I also found some examples inside the book.

This is the first page of my book note.  I wrote some big ideas that can lead me into this book, which include the social issue, central idea, and the themes.  It really helped me to take the questions into the book and to understand more about the story.

Humanism Infographic

The humanism’s total opinion is humans have their own value and they need to focus on themselves. I really go with this opinion and I think I might be a 80% humanist.

Something hide in the “The Last Kiss”.

My poem was found in the article “The Last kiss” by Ralph Flectcher. I found all my words in the page 2. In this story, the main conflict is a type of external conflict (main character vs. nature). But in my poem, I’d like to do the other type of internal conflict, which is character vs. his own emotions. The whole story is describe when”I” (First-person perspective) was young, I used to get the kisses from “my” mum and dad. But after a several years “I” grew up, “I” found that “I” would never get a kiss from “my” father again. After I read and analyzed the whole article, I found the main character must experienced the pain of growth. So I decided to focus on when “I” lost “my” fathers’ kiss. How does “I” feels like. “I” must feels lonely and a kind of sad. So my poem also full of lonely emotions. All the “quiet” “sinking heart” “silence” shows the feeling of loss and sadness after the main character doesn’t get a kiss. For the background picture I chose a picture of the moon and the sea. Because This background is dark, which also better shows the whole lost atmosphere. On the whole, this poem is in line with the conflicts and feelings in the whole article. I’m satisfied with this poem.
