Purposes of the rules of photography:

  • Capture specific and clear perspective
  • Helping beginners to take pics that can be more beautiful.
  • Capture the importance.
  • Helping others to understand the purpose.

Some rules in photography:

  1. Rule of thirds
  2. Frame the scene
  3. Follow the leading lines
  4. Create Depth
  5. Diagonals
  6. Try more and more

Context in Photography: What feelings/states of mind of the photographer are suggested by the image?

Context is a significant part of photography. In John Baldessari’s photo called “Wrong”, he used terrible composition and blurred graphics to infer his idea and emotions. The context in this photo basically presents a kind of irony of why people need to follow all kinds of “rules” which are also decided by people. The photographer used this picture or this series to suggest that people’s own ideas and creations shouldn’t really be judged. Why should we obey the rules of art? There’s no wrong and correct inside photography or even art area. And that’s the context I analyzed from this photo.
