Context in Photography

This Picture is one of the series that John Baldassari took, well known as the name ‘wrong’.  There is just an old man standing somewhere, below the picture it has a context  that says ‘wrong’. It broke many rules of photos, such as the clear point of view.  Sometimes it’s confusing to know the reason why the author took this photo.  It seems like this is not a good picture. However, I think Baldassari wanted us to know that by a context, a bad picture can be a good picture. Since the context shows the reason why an artist took this picture, people not only understand the picture, but also figure out the reason which the author demonstrated.  Moreover, by the context, the photo has the meaning and the topic. As a result, I think Baldassari’s photo is not a bad photo at all.
