Cheap So Blood & Flesh

On this page of my notebook I talked about Descriptive Parts from Flesh and Blood So cheap and also a connection I found with a central idea I found in my book.  For the descriptive parts I listed out 2 quotes that showed descriptive parts or information. For Making Connections I listed out my central idea and a connection that it explains it.

I labeled this page, “CER TOWNHALL” due to an activity we did in class discussing about our books and a theme that my bookclub group thought of. We also came up with evidence and reasoning to support our main themes incase anyone had a question or a rebuttal against us.

On this page of my special page of my notebook I had Central Idea, themes, issues and Central Ideas page 1 all in one page.on the top half of the page I took notes of central idea, themes and how a central idea could also lead to a social issue. On the bottom half I wrote mainly about the central ideas that I found inside of my book Flesh and Blood So Cheap.

This page was Central Idea page 2, this page was also similar to Central Idea page 1. However I also analyzed one of central ideas and added a triangle fire at the bottom of my page to make it a little colorful.

Flesh and blood So Cheap is an informative book talking about immigration, issues, and environment of Early New York . I really recommend Flesh & Blood So Cheap to people who want to study how New York was during the time it was being developed because you could learn about the environment of working in New York at the time the book was set in. Overall this book was very fun to read.

How To Steal Words From A Page And Analyse Them

“My Side Of The Story” by Adam Bagdasarian

The main conflict of this book is a, “Person vs Person” conflict. The little brother(antagonist) of the protagonist techically harrasses the main character by attaching a roll of scotch tape, on their head. A Person vs Person conflict is a type of external conflict as the opposing force, fighting the protagonist or someone else. What I showed in my poem were phrases that I took from a book that showed the main conflict of the book. In another way, I made the first page of the book short and made a found poem of it making it interesting or eye catching. I used many different fonts in my poem such as times new roman etc.
