My Friends
Throughout my sets, I realized that I liked the popping out of the masks and thought it would be more interesting if the faces changed rather than the same. In these photos, I liked how sharp and geometrical the face covers are. I personally like how cute the text emoticons look and satisfied how it turned out. It looks tacky but has a personality rather than a sharp professional shooting. Something I’m also satisfied with is how big the contrast is, from the face to the actual skin and clothing colors. It looks homemade and to me that’s how my friends are. They’re not professional or ever serious, and I think that’s the identity part. These are the people who surround me and they’re all silly and tacky.
Something I wish that could’ve went more well is how often I went to go shoot photos with my friends. It was hard to catch them in the hallways and so my sets were often small. There wasn’t much to pick from and it was hard to improve greatly through limited images.
