This infographic highlights the main characteristics about Humanism. The lifestyle changes from depending on the church for every explanation to studying how sciences and technology also are apart of the understanding of life. Additionally making self goals bettering yourself and indulging in studies of the arts.

The short story picked  is ‘’Buttons, Buttons’’. It is about this couple named Mr. and Ms. Lewis, who get an offer to press a button and in return get 50,000 dollars but the consequence is someone in the world dies.  

The conflict is Internal with Ms. Lewis is facing her greed for $50,000 at the cost of someone’s life. The first quote is on page 4 and reads ‘’ If it’s someone you’ve never seen in your life and never will see, someone whose death you don’t even have to know about, you still wouldn’t push the button.’’ This quote shows that she is willing push the button and get 50,000 even if someone had to die in the process, this makes Ms. Lewis very greedy. The second on page 4. ‘’That trip to Europe, a chance to buy that cottage on island.’’ This quote from Ms. Lewis shows that is thinks in depth about what she would do with the money, regardless of the outcome of someone dying. When Ms. Lewis says this, it lets us see a more self-centered and egocentric half of Ms. Lewis. 

Something that went well was that the kids were intrigued by the slingshot.

Some thatg  that did not go well was that the complexity I think we would like it to be at was not there.

A thing that was unexpected wasmanyw may kids wanted play.

I would make it more complex and add different dynamics.
