Amelia Lost
by Candace Fleming
This is a biography about noted female aviator Amelia Earhart. From her birth, her early life, her rise to fame, to her last flight, this book covers the entirety of her legacy.
This is my 1st central idea. It is about how in Chapter 1, Amelia fights against gender norms even in her early years.
This is my 2nd central idea (apologies for the font being so small.) It is about Chapter 2 and how Amelia’s father often returned drunk and how their family went without their father.
The author of this short story is Roald Dahl and the story’s name is “Lamb to the Slaughter”. The confllict in this story is an external conflict. More specifically, it is a Person vs Person conflict. The protagonist, Mary Maloney, is told a change in the job of the antagonist, Patrick Maloney. However, this makes her enraged, leading her to hit the back of Patrick’s head with a frozen leg of lamb. The above poem captures the essentials of the short story. The image in the graphic design is a pixellated leg of lamb, which is a key item in the story. For the font, I used the default font.
When you blog you create posts and posts are categorised according to your subject. Some categories have already been set up for you. If you need more categories you can add them as needed. It’s important that your posts have the following:
An engaging title – this should not include the name of the subject since this is referenced in the category.
Body – this is where you share your learning. This can include text, images, embedded videos from Dragons’ Tube or elsewhere. You should always consider how your post looks to your audience. Is it engaging? Do they want to keep reading?
Category – select one that has been set for you or add a new category. Posts can have more than one category e.g. Humanities and Myself as a Learner
