This found poem 1358_001 (1)was created with the word of Lamb to the Slaughter. In the story, the main character’s husband that she always loved demanded a divorce from her. With the huge amount of sudden shock and anger, she kills her husband. This can be considered the climax of the story, and it was her husband’s death  that really caused the series of problems later on in the story. In my poem, I tried to leave out some of the nouns and pronouns to make the poem more intense and mysterious. The words I chose to leave either explained how the problem happened, or described the emotions well. I also added some artistic icons on some of the words of phrases I left out, which have special meanings to them of somehow causing strong emotions, crucial for understanding the story’s conflict. Overall, my poem explains both what the conflict is and how the it happened, and the emotions of the main character before and during the climax.
