Melancholy:

The message of my triptych will be to take photos that convey a sense of melancholy. When the audience looks at my photograph, I want them to feel sadness and depression. For inspiration, I want to take photos of subjects in monochrome and objects that are isolated from everything else, because in this way, the image conveys a feeling of solitude, which leads to melancholy. In addition, I want the photo to have a soft texture and also a dim tone. The image should also have a high contrast. In my opinion, we should have the feeling of melancholy in our lives; melancholy and sadness remind us of the things we don’t have, the desire for the things we want. This also helps us set goals for the future, as we know what we desire, and we should try our best to reach the goal.
