I read the book “Unbroken” by Laura Hillenbrand. It is a World War Two novel that talks about Louie’s experiences in Japanese territories as a prisoner-of-war. It is a story that teems with resilience and despair. There is one problem after another that Louie needs to overcome, and sometimes, you think that everything is resolved, but it actually isn’t. This detailed and vivid novel illustrates the extent of resilience and the power of it, wishing to empower those in continued quandary.
Caption for my pictures: These are four of my notebook pages that best represent what I felt while I read the book. It analyses the importance of specific events and how they may lead into other ones. It also looks into the perspectives of different characters and groups of people, to see how they may react differently to a similar situation.
