⬆️ This is one of my central idea page. I used a chart to organize my evidences and reasonings to support this central idea which is on the top.

⬆️ This is my other central idea page. I used two evidence to support this central idea. Me and my teammate’s worked on this page together and came up with a reasoning.

⬆️ This is my informative page, where I’ve included evidence from the book alongside my notes and reflections, highlighting key areas that contribute to the paragraph’s depth and clarity.

⬆️ In this narrative page, I included evidence, my notes, and reasoning, while also highlighting key areas. A special feature of this page is that I included additional notes and my understanding of narrative at the back.

Overall, this book, Lost in the Antarctic, is very interesting. When I first started reading it, I found it quite boring because it primarily explained how the main character, Shackleton, overcame many conflicts. However, if you keep reading, you will begin to find the book intriguing as it starts to tell stories about his journey to Antarctica. I would recommend this book to everyone, especially to those who enjoy science, as it includes a wealth of scientific knowledge and many other fascinating topics waiting for you to explore.

YOU’D KILL ME, BUT, KILLING ISN’T EASY

I created this poem by using the words in the story “Lather and Nothing Else”, by Hernando Téllez, a Colombian journalist and author. The conflict in this story is person versus self. The conflict is essentially about a person shaving another person’s beard. He can kill that person with the shaver, but he can’t decide if he wants to kill him or not. In this passage, the conflict is shown in these words: “Murderer or hero?” “I can push down a little more on my hand, lean like silk, like rubber, like sheepskin. There is nothing more tender than a man’s skin and the blood is always there, ready to flow. A razor like this does not let you down. It’s my best razor. But I don’t want to be a murderer, no sir.”
