R: Helena said that if she had the world, she would give anything up – except Demetrius – to be like Hermia. It shows that Helena is jealous of Hermia’s beauty and attractiveness and would to anything to be like her and have Demetrius’s love. After Lysander and Hermia told Helena about their plan to escape Athens, she immediately decided to tell the plans to Demetrius, as an effort to win his love. This clearly shows that Helena is willing to give up her friendship with Hermia, to betray her just to win back Demetrius’s love.
