Things have changed after the revolution, Batista is no longer in power, Fidel Castro limited landholdings to only 993 acres per owner. He split up all the larger landholdings and distributed them to the civilians. An estimated amount of 200,000 peasants received a title deed from him. He implemented a change in the state wages. Higher officials like judges and other politicians had their wage reduced, and peasants saw theirs raised. He introduced Some things didn’t change, for example Fidel Castro’s reign. He made everything work for him, just like how Batista did. He jailed thousands of people and denied political freedom for an entire generation.
