In the world, we’re facing constant and severe problems in the environment, two of which are plastic and energy use. So here at ISB, we say we support protecting the environment. We put up posters about it, we have clubs to support, and teachers try to raise awareness all the time. But if you look at the ISB cafeteria, you would get a different idea. Hundreds of lightbulbs shine down, even when there are barely any people, and there are countless bottles of plastic being used, despite ISB saying no to plastic. ISB should reduce the amount of energy they use, by cutting the number of lights they use in the cafeteria, which will still allow students to see clearly. Also, ISB should use more reusable bottles, instead of one-time use plastic ones, to lessen the plastic thrown away.

在昨天的辩论里，我最统一的一点是我们组的。我们组觉得气候行动是最重要的SDG，因为解决气候变暖的问题也可以解决别的SDG，比如海底生物和实惠和干净的能源。还有，我们随时可以被一个大浪冲掉，还能想什么别的呀？？？？？？要是世界上所有的冰都化了，海平面会上升65.8米，因此淹没很多大的城市。我最反对的一点是教育的呢组。这是因为几百年以来，学校都是一样的。要有礼貌，不要浪费，保护环境。什么让你觉得下代的人会突然想出一个解决气候变暖的方法呢？
