My phobia is called bacteriophobia where individuals have a fear of bacteria. So, in my drawing, I chose to illustrate a blank room that is white where daily objects that contain large amounts of bacteria are piled in a corner. I drew a large transparent bacteria over each object to show that they are ‘contaminated’. The other small colorful dots also represents bacteria where they are the bacteria that we can’t see with our naked eye.
My mood board shows the fear of bacteria where there are various images that shows places that have bacteria. The object shown may cause those who have a fear of bacteria to feel disgusted or anxious.
Analysis

INQUIRY
At the start of the episode, Es commented that her practice over the years has been to follow the path of inquiry and then find collaborators who are willing to share their paths with her. What does this mean to you?
For me, I believe that dedication in her path allows her to find people that have the same interest with her where they come togther and improve and develope new ideas with them.
INGREDIENTS
During the episode, Es stated 5 ingredients of stage design.. (and perhaps photography). What are the ingredients?
Ingredient 1: Space
Ingredient 2: Light
Ingredient 3: Darkness
Ingredient 4: Scale
Ingredient 5: Time
Pick ONE ingredient and describe or explain what it means according to Es.
Space: Thinking outside the box to impress the audience and also using the whole stage space where all parts of it are filled up.
COMMUNICATION
For “Watch The Throne” tour featuring Kanye West and Jay-Z, Es questioned what the word Throne meant to the artists. For them, Throne was being on top and then having to fight to stay on top — in other words, the Throne meant the tension between power and vulnerability. Can you describe how she created a design that communicated the ‘tension between power and vulnerability”?
During the Watch The Throne” tour, Kanye West and Jay-Z was on a block where it was above the audience. This is able to show power because they are on a high elevation as everyone else are bellow them. However, without any safety precauations, one missep would allow them to fall to the bottom. So, this is able to show the vulnerable aspect as well.

The book 1984 by George Orwell is essentially about the main character, Winston smith where he is a low ranking member of the ruling party in London. He is constantly being watched everywhere even through the screen of a television by the big brothers. The party are the controllers of Oceana even controlling the history and language. I believe one of the important theme through out this book is physical manipulation as the book constantly reminds the protagonist, “BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU”. I really enjoyed reading this book because it introduces a variety of topics throughout the book using similes and metaphors.
