The Spanish Love Deception is a romance novel by Elena Armas. This book follows the perspective of the protagonist  Lina, short for Catalina. Catalina has a dark history with her ex Nate who she will have to encounter at her sister’s wedding. She wants to prove to others that she is happy and has forgotten everything in the past. She needed a date to make it seem happy, so she took her only option, Aaron Blackford, a co-worker she hated. During the Spanish trip, Lina realizes she feels something towards Aaron, and so does Aaron. Then the story escalates, and everything changes for them.

I have finished both It Ends With Us & Parachutes. It Ends With Us was a book following the protagonist Lily Bloom, one day she abuptly met this guy called Ryle on a rooftpop. Time passed, when one day Lily employeed a worker called Allysa, and it turns out the guy she met at the rooftop was Allysa’s brother. The relationship gets stronger between Lily and Ryle however, mistakes constantly happen as Lily reflects back to the treatment her mother recieved from her dad. At the end, Lily ends up with Atlas who was a part of her childhood with similar experiences. Parachutes is a book where it follows the story of two completely different girls from different places in the world. Similarly, they both experience sexual harassment and reunite to fight against it.
