1. List 3 things the photographer might have been interested in capturing in this picture?

The photographer was likely trying to capture the reflection of the pattern of lines by the sunlight, the contrast between light and dark and how that works against eachother, and finally the weird shape that the shadow forms on the piece of photo.

  1. If you were the photographer, what title would you give it? Explain why.

I would call this ” the split “, as it has two lines of light that equally splits the shapes into different pieces which is very interesting.

  1. Name one thing you think is unusual about the photograph.

I really like how the split part is not in the middle of the frame, and instead to the side. It does not fit the ordinary type of photograph as the main focus is not in the middle/ the picture does not fit the rule of thirds.

  1. Describe the use of line, shape, Pattern, texture, tone and focus

The usage of lines is clearly straight, and it can clearly find patterns and shapes within the lines. The texture is clear, because it only shows two different types of textures and it seems as if it is a table close to a wall. The tone and focus is also set perfectly, as it is very clear and distinct as to where and what it is about.

  1. What do you think is the best thing about this photograph?

I think the best thing about this photograph is the contrast between the different textures and shapes and patterns together.
