light box reflection

in this unit we were going to build a light box of a place that we would want to go or miss. I chose the yellow stone park, I found a picture of it on google with mountains and cows and river, grass. I only went to yellow stone their once and want to go there again sometimes.
during this turning I learned how to use adobe illustrator, the noun project and I learned how to make rectangles red lines to cut, how to get picture’s from noun project and insert them in to adobe.
when I made the light box on adobe illustrator I have found out that the I cannot make the whole thing in the picture I found so I have deleted the river that I was going to make. than I found out that some of the lines were going to be cut out wrong, also the trees were to tall and might break so I made them shorter and changed the places that would be cut out wrong. than for some reason everything had gotten black, not the red that means cut out and I can’t change it back.so I did the whole thing again with was easy since I just did something I did before. than mr.layman help me on some stuff I did wrong. at last it was cut out and I painted them in the color I had wanted. and glued every thing together.

the American revolution in plain English

our assignment was to do a video of 3-5 minutes to teach the American revolution, a plain English video. our collaboration was so so because when writing the script we did good but when printing the picture we both had a problem with printing the picture so we had to do the video in the weekend and when I tried to send the video to her because of computer issues I can’t send it. but eventually we got it done in school. so I think it’s so so. I think I did well because I had done most of the video. and she helped me on my part of the script.

Flesh&Blood So Cheap

by Albert Marrin

The theme of this book is races and gender should be treated equally because this book first chapter was talking about how the jews were treated in Russia, they were killed and slaughtered and the police didn’t stop them but captured the jews that tried to fight. The reason that you should read this book is this books talks a lot about racism and sexism. also it has facts about immigrants lives at the time, and lot’s of other facts about how people lived back then.

I think the character Theseus is a very respected, orderly and law king.

My evidence is that in before courting the problem, the script said take time to pause; and, by the next new moon The sealing-day betwixt my love and me, For everlasting bond of fellowship Upon that day either prepare to die For disobedience to your father’s will, Or else to wed Demetrius, as he would; This shows that he is a very orderly and law king. Also Egeus respects Theseus because he called Theseus his noble lord in respect, this shows that he is respected.

By all of the above it clearly shows that Theseus is a very respected, orderly and law king.

ThemeCER paragraph the monkey’s paw

Theme CER

Julian Yu 8-5

The theme of the story the monkey’s paw is do not get greedy, greed can destroy one’s life. This story is about a soldier gave a monkey’s paw that was supposed to grant wishes to the white family. The family’s first wish is two get two hundred pounds to pay their bills, the result was they got a payment for the death of their son. Then the mother in desperate attempt wished for their son to come back. And finally, Mr. White fixed the last wish. The main theme of the story or the moral is to no get greedy, or you will get a disaster.

In the story The Monkey’s Paw, by William. W. Jacobs, the author believes that do not get greedy, greed can destroy one’s life. The first piece of evidence to support the claim is in pages 125-215 after they wished for two hundred pounds their wish came true as payment in result of their only sons death, the text states: Dropping his wife’s hand, Mr. White stood up and stared at the man with a look of horror. ‘How much?’ he said. ‘Two hundred pounds.’ The old man smiled faintly, put out his hands like a blind man, and fell to the floor, unconscious. The evidence above shows when you have greed for something you don’t actually need or just greed can result in disaster. Further along in the story, the second piece of evidence is in pages 230-330 where Mrs. White made her husband to wish for their son to come back from the dead. The story clearly states:” But Mr. White was on his hands and knees, groping wildly on the floor, trying to find the paw. If he could only find it before the thing outside got in!”. this peace of evidence shows that do not greed for something you should not have, this results in bad ways.

From all of the evidence above it shows that William believes that do not have greed, do not wish for something you should not have, or you wouldn’t get what you get and possibly get the opposite, or very bad result.
