Some may think that boxers deserve an excellent rap, but I think boxers deserve a bad rap because of three reasons.

The first reason that boxers deserve a bad rap is that boxers have killed lots of foreign missionaries. This shows that boxers deserve a bad rap because the foreign missionaries were just in China to share their idea of Christianity that may improve China. Still, the boxers just killed those missionaries because they did not like the idea of Christianity. For example, there were lots of Chinese, foreign missionaries in the church, and the boxers just burned it and killed all the missionaries.

The second reason that boxers deserve a bad rap is that they have destroyed lots of service in China. If they were the excellent rap, they should work to develop their country’s service, but boxers have destroyed lots of service, including the telegraph and the train line, so, at that time, the only thing to communicate was the post office.

The third reason that boxers deserve a bad rap is that they have killed lots of Chinese citizens. If they were the excellent rap, they should help and try to save their citizens, but boxers were the bad rap, so they have killed them. For example, one day, citizens ran away from the boxers and went to the Beijing government building. However, there were only boxers in that government building so, all the citizens died. Also, they have killed lots of Chinese missionaries which are still Chinese citizens.

Therefore, I think boxers deserve a bad rap because they have killed the foreign missionaries, destroyed lots of Chinese services, and killed many missionaries.

Sometimes a dream needs a push THEME
I think the theme of this story which Sometimes a dream needs a push is if you really try it, you can do it. I think this is the theme of the story because of two reasons in the story.
I think the theme of the story is if you really try it, you can do it because in the end of page 1 and in the beginning of page 2, the main character decided to do the wheelchair basketball team and this shows that my theme is correct because even though he can’t walk or run he still tried to join the basketball team and he did it. Therefore, the theme of the story is if you really try it, you can do it.
I think the theme of the story is if you really try it, you can do it because in the story Mr. Evan said “I happen to know that you played pro ball, and you’re good. But I think shooting from a wheelchair is a bit harder.” (paragraph 37, Walter Dean Myers) This shows that the theme is if you really try it, you can do it because even though Mr. Evan said “It will be a bit harder from a wheelchair” the main character still went to the basketball match. Therefore, the theme of the story is if you really try it, you can do it.

My poem is from a story called The Last Kiss from Ralph Fletcher and my poem is “My childhood, my mothe and father kisses were meant a good potent medicine to me but not again.” I think this shows that the conflict of this story because this story’s conflict is man Vs man conflict and the conflict is that Her father dont kiss her anymore because she is old. Therefore, I think my poem talks about the conflict.

Cell phones should be banned in school for several reasons. The first reason is that cell phones distract students from learning and the second reason is cell phones can cause cyberbullying. However, cell phones are not always negative. For example, cell phones can be used positively like cell phones are a really powerful learning tool for students. however, students can use cell phones in bad ways.

Schools should ban cell phones because cell phones constantly distract students from learning. One high school teacher said, “Cell phones constantly distract students and makes problem between students.”(Abigail Hess 2019). Students can fight with each other because for example if one student accidentally breaks the other student’s cell phones they might fight with each other. This shows that if the school ban cell phones, students might fight less with each other and cell phones and the average test score increased and students wrote 62% more information in their notes. (Kuznekoff 2013) Also, students who didn’t use cell phones got 50% higher scores in their tests.(Kuznekoff 2013) This shows that cell phones make students score lower because it distracts students. Therefore, the school should ban cell phones to make student-focused on their tasks.

Schools should ban cell phones to reduce cyberbullying. according to the survey(Charlie Osborne for iGeneration 2013), mobile devices including phones and tablets that don’t need wires can be linked to cyberbullying rates among young people in school. (Charlie Osborne for iGeneration 2012) For example, if students have their own mobile devices students can easily text other students so, they can cause cyberbullying. This shows that schools should ban cell phones to reduce cyberbullying.

However, some may say that cell phones are a really powerful learning tool. One teacher said that “if you use cell phones you can easily collect data by researching on the internet, you can easily communicate with each other and also, you can get feedback on the internet.” (BSD education) This shows that if the students use cell phones they can improve their communication skills and researching skills. Also, a Technology and Learning researcher at Western Sydney University said that ” school should not ban cell phones because for student’s future.” This shows that cell phones can be powerful learning but still students can play games with their phones, they can watch videos and they can even cheat in their test by looking at the phones. Therefore, cell phones can be a powerful learning tool but still, students can cheat with it so, it is better to ban them.
