Cup Insulator & Penguin Dwelling

 Cup Insulator(Reagan & Reina)

  • What was the hardest thing about this project?

The hardest thing about this project is that Reagan and I had to make a cup insulator that would keep the hot water stay as warm as possible.

  • What are you most proud of?

Reagan and I are most proud of that are insulator looks good.

  • Comment on the quality of the cup.

I think the quality of the cup is pretty good. I think the lid of our insulator is the best. The velcro to close the surrounding wrap didn’t work. It didn’t work, because the Velcro was not strong enough. That was our only mistake. Reagan and I really like the handle on the lid. It’s made out of hot glue. We wanted to paint it so it would look better but, the teacher said it’s gonna take a long time so we decided not to paint it.

 Save The Penguins (STP)

  • What are you proud of?

I am proud of how our group communicated. Because of this, we were able to make a good penguin dwelling. We even have a kinda good group name: STP(Save The Penguins)!

  • What was the hardest thing about this project?

The hardest thing about this project was to make a dwelling that wouldn’t let the ice melt so much and I think we did pretty well on that. After the re-design, we lost less mass than we did for our first design. Our re-design was to close one side of the dwelling.

  • What would you do differently?

I think I would do make our dwelling a bit bigger and make it look better, instead of loads of hot glue around. But overall I think we did well!
