In the assembly of the air cannon, I realized that I needed to use different assembly techniques for different materials, for example, I could not use the fabric assembly method for the wooden handle, nor could I use the wooden handle assembly method for the spring part. After my personal experimentation and advice from my teacher, I finally determined how each part of the assembly needed to be done.

First, the handle, my handle is assembled with multiple pieces of wood, consisting of two 8 cm and two 6 cm sticks, with screws to form a hollow rectangle used as a place for the hand to hold. A 15 cm long and 3 cm wide cylinder has the same way to link the handle. Finally, the two middle hollow 3 cm pie-shaped wood mounted to the long cylinder is used to connect the fabric. I will cut out a 3 cm size hole in the very center of the fabric. On each side of a wooden cake and then the entire handle through the three items to play a fixed effect. The fabric is tied to the barrel body with a string. Finally, a hook is installed at the end of the handle to connect the spring to make the fabric flexible. A woodcutter and an electric screwdriver were used throughout the process.

No matter whether it is the handle, the barrel, and the spring rope connection are exactly as I originally envisioned. However, as an air cannon, it can do too little kinetic energy conversion. Even if you pull the traction device to the head, you can only hit a weak air potential energy.

My companion thought it had too little elasticity and only one spring rope to release much kinetic energy. My other companions also thought that the material I chose, the fiber cloth, contained too little elasticity and did not have any stretch, making the traction too stiff. According to my product prototype, I also found several holes in the fiber cloth, which were caused by improper handling during manufacturing. I think based on the above points, the material selection aspect is the main reason for the failure. I should have replaced the fiber arrangement with a fabric/material that is more stretchy, flexible, and not easily damaged by tension.

In the last unite of products design we are trying to make a bluetooth speaker, we first use cardboard to check the size, and we cut it in wood form, and we are able to use painting and other technology to make our speaker. We also learn about different type of design and the type of design I had choose to make on my speaker is Art Deco, Art deco is a type of design using shapes and lines to make patten, and the colors are usually black and gold, but while I designing my speaker, I feel like to try new things and so I had add color green and purple base on the color black and gold, and it work out, it looks good, and I really like the colors I had add on the speaker, but the color gold seems like to turn out yellow and I think this might be a imperfect things in my design.
