- I have read three English and two Korean books for my independent reading so far. I am completely finished with one of them and close to the end with another, while I have stopped reading one because I couldn’t fully follow the plot. I have fully finished both of the Korean books.
- The book that has had the most significant impact on me was Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind because it gives various perspectives on what humans have done through evolution other than what I am aware of. It also suggests some different theories about specific events from general ideas.
- The book that I am currently finishing up, And Then There Were None, had the most creative use of language. The book’s genre is mystery fiction, and the author effectively uses situational, dramatical irony to create fear and make readers to be absorbed with the characters of the book.
- I have surprised by how just some letters can lead me to imagine certain situations without any visual media.
