For my project, I want to capture the thingsĀ  in everyday life, such as, building, people on streets. My message is that simple, . I want the audience to feel calm and connected to these ordinary scenes.

Inspiration from Photographers
I will take inspiration from Joshua K. Jackson, a photographer who used color, light, reflections, and shadows to create beautiful images of everyday city life. I will try to use light and color in a similar way to make my photos more emotional like his photographs.

Techniques and Style
Vivid Color: to focus on colorful elements in my surrounding.
Reflections and Glass: Use reflective surfaces like windows or puddles to add different mood for the photo
Close ups :focus on smaller details , textures, shadows

I will photograph things like city, streets and people, the colors in my photos will be mostly a dark mood but with vivid colors.

Favorite Images
When I look at my favorite images, I notice that I love:

1. Bold Colors: His use of bright, vivid colors that make the images stand out.
2. Strong Contrast: The way he uses the light and shadow to create depth and a darker mood .
3. Reflections: How he uses reflections in glass or puddles to make the photos more interesting.
4. Motion Blur: The sense of movement he captures, which makes the city feel alive.

Vision Statement
The goal of my project is to show that everyday life is full of hidden beauty. By using light, color, and composition, I want to show peopleĀ  the small details that are often overlooked. I hope my project will remind viewers to slow down and notice the world around them, especially in busy, fast-paced places.

The WORKING title of my project is: Moments in the City

I want my audience to feel the beauty in the city and some overlooked moments.

I will get inspiration and develop my ideas by looking for photographs by Joshua K. Jackson that show Vivid colors, strong contrasts, and reflections,.
