Street Photography
This set of photos shows daily life on the streets with interesting details. I used a blurry background in some pictures to make the main subject stand out. Furthermore the photos also show the bigger street scenes, like the row of bikes and people walking. The natural light makes the pictures clear and bright, showing textures and details. The pictures feel real and natural, capturing people and moments as they are.
I wanted to show the beauty of autumn through the yellow ginkgo leaves. By looking up at the trees to capture their branches stretching against the sky and looking down to show the leaves on the ground. The natural light helped me show the vivid yellow color of the leaves.
I framed the shots tightly to focus on the hands and tools, showing the small details of the artwork and the movement of the person. I used a small aperture to blur the background and keep the main subject clear. I chose a shutter speed around 125s to make sure the hands stayed sharp while they worked. The natural light helped me avoid hard shadows and kept everything looking clear.
