Can a ‘bad’ picture ever be ‘great’? How important is context in photography?
Context in Photography is important because it can ease the photographer’s load of wanting to get a specific message across. In this photograph, there isn’t a specific message but we can see that this photo is old.
Different people will have different perspectives, so it depends on their point of view. In my opinion, the colors give a nostalgic feeling, and the blurriness gives an antique impression. However, based on the “rules” of photography, this photograph actually breaks the rule, but if we see/include the context of this photograph, then it will make me think that this photo is taken in a unique point of view.
