During 1953 to 1959, there was a military and political attempt to destroy the Cuban government. It started following the unsuccessful mass strike in protest to the 1952 Cuban coup that installed Fulgencio Batista as the nation’s leader. After Fidel Castro’s success in 1959, the Communist Party was fully established in Cuba, and the country’s society experienced dramatic evolution. This triumph had immediate positive effects on healthcare, education, and access to clean water and good homes.
