The main purpose of this film is to show problems in the society women face. All the problems are common, and you still can see them all around the world. By presenting these issues in the form of animation, I hope to inform the audience watching the film to be aware of these issues and take action.

There are a variety of changes that happened to France because of the French Revolution. The Third Estate received more power because of the Great Fear; there was an abolishment of privileges of the Second Estate, the Nobility and Clergy. However, the more things change, the more things stay the same. There were conflicts all the time whether inside France or with another country. For example, there was the Reign of terror and there was also the battle with the pyramids. Adding on, the king was the ruler for most times. Louis XVI was the king, the ruler, until his execution. Even though there were a few years that there was no king ruling the country, Napoleon eventually seized power and became their next king.

This found poem above was taken from “Lather and nothing else” by Hernando Tellez from page 4. This found poem shows the internal conflict of the story, which the protagonist is the barber. It shows the main character’s inner conflict of should he murder the customer or not while he is shaving his mustache. This is an important part of the story because without this internal conflict, the story would lose its climax and cannot continue on building the story. This conflict also shows the main character’s personality during this process of thinking about should he be a hero and not kill or be a murderer and kill. At last, the barber did not kill this customer and shows that he might be a soft hearted person.
